Capital K Distillery Label Strategy & Design

When Capital K Distillery, Winnipeg’s first craft distillery, launched their product line in 2016 they did so with an extremely limited budget. Pouring their heart and soul into exquisite craft spirits, they battled lack-lustre sales in an uphill battle against monster brands. Enter Brandidly and the extremely talented designers at Plaid Buffalo Creative!

We knew that with the original labels, these delicious products didn’t have the eye candy outside that was needed to match the exceptional flavour on the inside. We also knew that we faced a challenge keeping branding modern and consistent across a diverse product line while keeping costs low. Our objective was to create catchy concepts and product names, working together with a talented design team to bring the vision to life. The results are spectacular, and sales of these delicious and beautiful spirits have been soaring ever since!
